About Olivia

Hi! I am Olivia Vescovo, and I have been training dogs professionally since 2011. My focus is on puppy raising and socialization, and a variety of dog sports like agility, scent work, and dock diving. I am a canine scent work instructor at DePaw Dog Sports and animal wrangler with Hit The Mark Animal Talent. I currently own Russel, an Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Kelpie mix; Winger, a Golden Retriever; Summer, an Airedale Terrier mix; and Josie, a long haired Chihuahua.

I started photographing dogs and dog sports while I was in high school. I love the capturing the sheer joy on a dog’s face as he leaps through an agility course. The fierce determination or absolute goofiness of a dog’s expression as she leaps off a dock delights me every single time. The relationship between a handler and their dog shows in the concentration and happiness in any run or splash. And I want to make sure that each handler has a chance to see their dog through my lens.
